What is Microshading?
Microblading is a beauty enhancement method where use of a semi-permanent marker is used to draw better and suitable shape eyebrows. How long does it take?
For the first Microshading session, the entire procedure should take about 2.5-3 hours. During this session, the brow technician will shape and style the client’s brows for client approval. We then follow with pigment color selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.
The client is to come in for a follow up visit in order to have any minor necessary touch ups. The second Microshading session takes place after 4-6 weeks after the initial session. This session will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.

Pre & Post Operative Care
For the most favorable outcome of your microshading treatment, please abide by the following before your appointment:
- Alcohol and Blood Thinners: For 72 hours before your treatment, please refrain from alcohol and blood thinners such as aspirin or ibuprofen. This is to avoid excessive bleeding and to allow the pigment to adhere evenly.
- Keep Out of the Sun: Tanning and sun exposure can affect pigment choice and healing and should be avoided before your procedure.
- Bring Your Inspo: If you have a particular brow shape or style in mind, bring in reference pictures. Our artists will work with you to create your perfect eyebrow look.
- Skip Any Facial Treatments: Steer clear of any facial scrubs or chemical peels for at least two weeks before your appointment so that your eyebrow area is healthy and ripe for pigment application.
After your procedure, clients MUST follow these instructions
- It is essential for the aftercare to be done properly; it is this that is going to give you gorgeously healed brows for the long run. Kindly follow the instructions below with all care:
- Clean Gently: After two hours, please take a moistened cotton pad and gently cleanse your brows. Get rid of any residual pigment or lymphatic fluid to minimize scabbing and encourage even healing.
- Use Healing Balm: For 5-7 days after the procedure, apply recommended healing balm 2 times a day-a thin layer will keep the brows moisturized, never clogged.
- Avoid Make-Up and Sun Exposure: Do not touch a make-up brush on the eyebrow area, go swimming, or expose it directly to the sun for at least 10-14 days after the procedure to protect the skin while healing.
- Never Ever Pick or Peel: It’s natural if slight itching and flaking occur; do not; however, choose or pick, as it might disrupt lining and lead you to uneven results.
